One of the teens charged with child pornography in connection with the Rehtaeh Parsons case is in jail this morning.
The 19-year-old, who can’t be named, appeared in court yesterday morning after the Crown attorney charged him with violating the conditions of release on charges of possession of stolen property and a court order.
According to The Chronicle Herald the teen was supposed to be under house arrest, but was spotted working at a fish plant in Eastern Passage last week.
The teen has been sentenced to 10 days in jail as a result.
The Herald says the same teen was supposed to stay away from alcohol as well, but was caught drinking in November and will receive his sentence on that charge in May.
